How to purchase paid add-ons on the MSFS marketplace
This page will show you how to purchase paid add-ons from the marketplace inside Microsoft Flight Simulator.

To obtain additional scenery, etc., click [MARKETPLACE] at the bottom right of the main screen of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
This is the marketplace screen.
Various contents are displayed by category.
Additionally, the content manufacturer name is displayed below the content name.
You can see that content is provided by various software manufacturers.
Find the content you like.
When purchasing paid content, we recommend checking its quality and reputation online. Just because something is distributed on a marketplace doesn't necessarily mean that only high-quality content is being sold.
Equivalent content may also be developed by users and distributed free of charge. The site flightsim.to allows you to download such content for free or for a fee.

When you select paid content, a screen like this will appear.
Next to the "★" mark at the bottom left of the screen, the ratings of users who purchased this product are displayed on a 5-point scale. It is best to refrain from purchasing content that has low ratings despite the number of people who have rated it (number in parentheses).
To purchase, click the [Purchase and Download] or [Purchase] button at the bottom right of the screen.
Then you will see a screen like this.
The purchase process is to charge credits to your Steam account and then pay from there.
Click the [Add Credit] button at the bottom right of the screen.
Select the amount to charge to your account.
If you plan to purchase a lot of paid content on Steam in the future, you may want to charge a larger amount.
At the top, the amount of paid content you are about to purchase is displayed. Click this to charge the minimum required amount.
Then enter your payment method and payment information.
The procedure is the same as when purchasing Microsoft Flight Simulator itself.
You can select your payment method in the "Please select a payment method" field.
Click on the "Please select a payment method" field and a drop-down list will appear.
You can choose from these payment methods.
Once you have entered your payment method and payment information, click the [Continue] button at the bottom center of the screen.
A confirmation screen for payment information will appear.
If there is no problem, check "I agree to the terms and conditions of the Steam Terms of Use" at the bottom left of the screen, and click the [Purchase] button.
Up to this point, credits have been added to your Steam account.
Next, use these credits to purchase paid content.
Click the [Return to checkout] button.
Then you will see a screen like this.
Click the [Allow] button.
The purchase procedure is now complete.
The content price displayed at the bottom right of the screen will change to "Owned".
If you click [Purchase and Download], the download and installation of the content will begin.
Leave Microsoft Flight Simulator running.
The folder where purchased content will be installed is "\Official\Steam" under the data storage folder specified when installing the game.
Once the installation is complete, a "Rate this" button will appear at the bottom right of the screen.
Please enter your evaluation as fairly as possible.
The airport model I purchased this time has a capacity of 2.39GB, and it took about 30 minutes to download.
