Preparation of microSD card (TF card)
This section describes the procedure for preparing microSD (TF card) card to be set in EdgeTX radio. For OpenTX, see How to prepare microSD card for OpenTX radio page.
How to prepare microSD card for OpenTX radio
Prepare a blank microSD card. The capacity depends on the amount of icon image and audio data you want to store, but I think 8GB is enough. (RadioMaster's radios only supports up to 8GB, but 16GB could be used.) Format this in FAT32 format on your computer.
MicroSD card (SDXC standard) with a capacity of more than 32GB cannot be formatted in FAT32 using OS standard function. You need to use a free software formatter.

A list of links by model of the radio is displayed.
Download Zip file that matches your radio's model name or screen resolution (refer to the table below).
Right-click on the link and download it to your computer. Then unzip it in any folder.
If you don't know which file to select, first download "sdcard.json" and open it with a text editor. You can see a list of model name and file name prefixes.

Then, the folders / files shown in this figure will be expanded.
Write all of them to root directory of microSD card.
Also, copy necessary files such as Lua script files you stored and MODEL backups from the SD card that you have been using.
Unlike OpenTX, "SOUNDS" folder is empty in EdgeTX SD card image. Follow the steps below to download audio files in any language separately.

For audio files (sound pack), download the data that matches the version of EdgeTX you want to install from

A list of audio files is displayed.
For example, the English voice is "edgetx-sdcard-sounds-en-xxxxxx.zip".
Right-click on the link and download it to your computer. Then unzip it in any folder.
Then, a folder called "SOUNDS" will be expanded, so write all the contents to "SOUNDS" folder on microSD card.
