Add-on Content Compatibility
Add-ons purchased on the MSFS2020 Marketplace will be available for free download on the MSFS2024 Marketplace as soon as the developers have made their changes. And some third-party add-ons for MSFS2020 that are distributed for free or for a fee on sites such as Flightsim.to can be used simply by copying the contents of the Community folder (some require a paid upgrade).If you have already purchased the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe Edition of MSFS2020, the additional aircraft and airports specific to those editions will be available for free when you purchase any edition of MSFS2024 (e.g. Standard Edition). Whether you purchase MSFS2024 from the MS Store or Steam, your add-ons for MSFS2020 will be carried over as long as you sign in with the same Microsoft account or Xbox account.

Enabling MSFS2020 Marketplace add-on content in MSFS2024
To enable add-on content acquired from the MSFS2020 Marketplace in MSFS2024, follow the steps below.
Launch MSFS2024 and open the Marketplace screen.
Then click on "My Library" in the top left of the screen.
You will then be shown a list of the add-on content you own.
If you scroll down this screen, any add-on content you purchased from the MSFS2020 Marketplace will be displayed greyed out and labeled [Disabled].
If content says "Unverified," the developer of that content has not yet approved it for enablement in MSFS2024. This means that the developer has not yet completed the fixes for MSFS2024.
Click on the content you want to enable in MSFS2024 and check it.
Next, click the "Enable" button at the bottom right of the screen.
This will start the activation process.
Please wait a while.
Once activation is complete, the screen will refresh.
Activated content will move to the top of the list.
That's it, you're done.
