The third model of OTONA NO CYOGOKIN series. This is an asteroid sample return probe "MUSES-C" know as "Hayabusa(falcon)". It was launched in May.9.2003 by M-V No.5 launch vehicle from Uchiniura launch site. Then landed on asteroid "ITOKAWA" Nov.11 and 19.2005. And sample returned to The Earth Jun.13.2010.

In Tokyo Toy Show 2009 (Jul.16-19 2009), BANDAI make an announcement of 1/144 Apollo 11 and SaturnV Launch Vehicle Scale Model. BANDAI was making CYOGOKIN series Super Robot Animation character toys that was made by die-cast for a long time. And now, OTONA NO CYOGOKIN, Fine scale model series for Adults is started. Apollo 11 and SaturnV Launch Vehicle was selected for it's first relese.
Scale is 1/144, Price have not yet decided on, Relese date will be in 2010.
APOLLO MANIACS is assisting this project.

Now OMEGA joins the world in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing with the release of the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Apollo 11 "40th Anniversary" Limited Edition. It is fitting that the distinctive timepiece is powered by OMEGA's famous calibre 1861, the same movement used in the original Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch. The stainless steel casebody is delivered with a stainless steel bracelet which has been upgraded to include OMEGA's patented screw and pin system. The Apollo 11 "Eagle" mission patch is stamped on the caseback along with the words, "THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON", the limited edition number (0000/7969), and "July 21, 1969", the date Armstrong and Aldrin first stepped onto the moon's surface at 02:56, the time which is printed on the dial.

Orion CEV&LSAM scale model from Launch Complex Models
Real scale model of Orion CEV&LSAM : the next generation manned spacecraft instead of SpaceShuttle, comes from Launch Complex Models now. Scale is 1:48. Orion CEV consists of two highly detailed modules: the Crew Module (CM) measuring approximately 4.5" diameter and 2.5" tall, and the Service Module (SM) 4.5" diameter and 5" long. And LSAM also features two separating modules: The Descent Module (DS) standing 6" tall, with a footprint 8" across, and Ascent Module (AS) 4" tall, 5" across. Total part count for both CEV and LSAM is 174 individual parts, and together will weigh about 10 lb. It's cost is USD240.00 but The first 100 orders received by December 31st, 2006, will qualify for the special prices of USD200.00.

Danbury Mint makes figures, collective items, e.t.c. They released "Saturn V" as the third model of "Milestones in Space Exploration" series. Can separate each stage and fine details. The firse model of "Milestones in Space Exploration" was "Apollo13", then second was "SpaceShuttle Columbia".
